Note: If you have a lawsuit judgment against you, you must pay the plaintiff directly or the plaintiff’s attorney. The court does not collect on third-party judgments.
Bonds or Bail Money
These transactions can only be done at the court, during court hours. Bonds are cash only!
Paying a traffic ticket or parking citation
All civil infraction citations are due within 12 days of the date on the citation. If you fail to pay or request a court appearance within 12 days, you will be in default and subject to late fees and possible suspension of your license. If you would like to admit responsibility and pay for your ticket Online, please follow the Payments section listed below.
Before you come to Court to pay the ticket
It normally takes 2-3 business days from the time you receive the ticket before the court has received a record of the ticket from the police department. Please allow at least two business days before coming to the court to pay. If you are coming in person to pay during regular business hours, please bring a copy of the ticket with you.
Payments
General Information:
- With your Name or Ticket number use our MICourt Case Search to determine the fine amount or confirm your ticket was received by the court.
- Probation and ticket payments can be made at the court or online.
- A third-party service is used to process all credit card transactions. You will be charged a Convenience Fee. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
- PAYMENTS MADE ONLINE WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY.
At the Court:
Please bring in your citation. Payment may be made with Cash, Check, Money Order, or Credit Card. Please make a Check or Money Order payable to the “35th District Court”. Proper ID will be required.
Online:
You may pay online using Clemis on or before 10 days from the issuance of the citation. AFTER 10 days you must use G2G to make payments.
After Hours Drop Box
We have a drop box located at the front of the building, near the handicapped parking spaces.
- Use our MICourt Case Search to look up your exact fine amount.
- You may pay with a Personal Check, Money Order, or Cashier Check. Please do not include cash payments in the drop box.
- Make checks payable to the “35th District Court”.
