Theodore Johnson has been a Magistrate of the 35th District
Court for over twelve years and also serves on the Teen Court
Advisory Board.
Magistrate
Johnson received a Bachelor of Science degree from the
University of Scranton. He is also a graduate of Loyola
University Law School and a former Assistant District Attorney
at the New Orleans District Attorney’s Office. He is an Adjunct
Professor of Criminal Law in the Criminal Justice Program at
Schoolcraft College and an instructor for the Michigan Judicial
Institute in Lansing and was a contributor to their Domestic
Violence Benchbook.
Magistrate Johnson is the current chairperson of the Western
Wayne Advisory Committee to HelpSource and a board member of
First Step. He has also served as the attorney advisor to the
Plymouth-Canton High Schools’ student Mock Trial Team. He is a
past president of the Suburban Bar Association of Western Wayne
County. |
